Things I Know

It has been a bit of an up and down week for me. Lots of car trouble, but a few good things as well.

  • I Know that if you are on a slippery slope and you just can't stop sometimes it is best to enjoy the ride.

  • I Know that my nephew is a gorgeous, wonderful human being.

  • I Know four and two year old boys are highly competitive and it is enough to make me want to pull my hair out.

  • I Know that the price of petrol is daylight robbery.

  • I Know that although there are some very nasty people around, there are also some extremely kind, helpful and generous ones that go out of their way to help. Thank you to Jeanette, Karyn, Kath, Ang, Steve and the lady behind me when I broke down the other day.

  • I Know that mud and small boys are attracted to each other like magnets.

  • I Know that I need to find the time to exercise more.

  • I Know that people are a little surprised when they find out how old I am, and it always makes me smile.

  • I Know that I really need to focus on the positives in my life and find the things that make me thankful and happy.

Now it's your turn ... What do you know?

  1. I know.....
that one cannot always judge a book by its proverbial cover.

    I know.....
that I am truly blessed to have a small circle of amazing friends.

    I know.....
that I would prefer to have one friend whose motives I never have to question, than a hundred people who say they love me.

    I know.....
that kindred spirits are always somehow drawn together.

    I know.....
that I am going to enjoy reading this blog each day very much!

    MWAH!

  4. I know what you mean about negative and unhelpful people. Focusing on those that are generous and kind brings more of them into your life. I've been walking away from the drama and negativity more and more lately.

And I know about small boys and mud. Apparently that is the only thing backyards are useful for.

Thanks for linking up this week :)

  6. I smiled at "daylight robbery". Lol. It seems almost everyone's complaining and worrying about petrol price increase nowadays... except me. Maybe it's because (here's my I know...) I know that I shouldn't waste my time worrying about petrol prices because my worrying and complaining can't do anything to lower the petrol prices, thus I'll just be wasting my time, making my head ache, and increasing my wrinkles and grey hairs.

    Does that make sense? :-D
