The Chocolate Diet - Polyphenols Are The Key! - Last Giveaway!

This is my last chocolate diet post I get to share with you all. Boo!

It has been simply brilliant. What a wonderfully indulgent, yet incredibly balanced diet to be on.

With the weather getting colder too, you can have a hot chocolate shake, very delicious first thing in the morning. Make it up as usual, put it into a mug and pop it into the microwave for about 60 seconds. Yummo!

The health benefits of chocolate are starting to become well known.

Of course, not all chocolate is created equal. Unfortunately, a lot of the chocolate bars, the boxes of soft centred chocolates and the blocks of yummy milk chocolate, contain a lot of sugar, lots of saturated fats and not enough of the right type of cocoa. If you overindulge on this type of choccy you will gain weight.

The healthy chocolate is the dark stuff. It contains high levels of nutrients called polyphenols. A good high quality cocoa that contains at least 70% cocoa solids is recommended. This superfood can help control your appetite, increase fat burning, improve circulation, help you lose weight, reduce blood pressure, improve your mood, it also helps your heart, brain, liver, skin and cholesterol health. These little guys called polyphenols are the key.

The chocolate in The Chocolate Diet is good quality Belgian chocolate.  The shakes have a minimum of 20% cocoa by weight and the chocolate treats, which I have come to enjoy so much as an after dinner snack, have a minimum of 70% cocoa, are low in fat, no added sugar and taste just great.

I am very pleased to let you know that I get to give away a weeks' supply of The Chocolate Diet valued at $60.

Let me know in the comments,

Why Would You Like To Try The Chocolate Diet?

  6. YIPPEE! Finally a way I can embrace my addiction to chocolate, whilst also learning how to include chocolate in my daily diet without compromising my weight loss. No more being caught by hubby with chocolate in my mouth and having to feebly answer "Nothing!" when he asks me what I'm eating!

  7. As a chocoholic it might have been a better question to answer "Why not"!! There is so much benefits in Chocolate but it must be the right kind or it will add fat to the wrong places instead of taking it off.
Love the sound of your Chocolate Diet :)

  13. I am trying very hard to lose weight but the one thing I can't give up (or even want to) is chocolate! Really helps my serotonin levels. Want to try it first so I can justify paying $60/week for it.

  14. I am sooo addicted to chocolate. It's me weakness when I'm stressed, tired or happy, so there is no way of escaping it really. But I really need to shift a few kilos and too much chocolate eating has started to take its toll on my jean-fitting capacity.

  16. It certainly sounds more interesting than any other diet that I have tried. If It goes well, then I have won. But then if it doesn't go well, I doubt I am going to feel bad.
